Job Description
As a bus mechanic with us, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our vehicles along the Norrland coast and in Norrbotten. You will ensure that the work is carried out in a professional and quality-assured manner while following our safety procedures. We provide training for the relevant vehicle type, in this case, double-decker buses with a rear lift.
You will be part of the workshop team at our depot in Umeå and report to the Traffic Area Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform service, maintenance, and repair of vehicles, both independently and in teams
- Troubleshoot and assess repair actions in consultation with management
- Carry out repairs according to professional standards
- Maintain spare parts inventory and workshop equipment
- Participate in improvement and development work within the workshop
- Hold overall responsibility for NLK vehicles with action plans and service plans for 19+7 buses.

Qualifications
- Technical or automotive engineering education (or equivalent documented experience)
- At least 2 years of experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic
- Experience with troubleshooting systems
- Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
- Good knowledge of Office365, especially Excel.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Driver's license with at least B category (D license is an advantage)

Employment type: Permanent position after a probationary period.
